Hanging Rocks
Within sight of Dempsey's Pottery is the interesting rock formation referred to locally as the "Hanging Rocks." The cliff extends out over and along the Replete Road for 100 feet or more. Years ago pedestrians and horseback riders sheltered under the rocks in inclement weather. The uniqueness and beauty of the rock has provided the site of an occasional wedding.

Holly River
Webster County Route 8 and the Mollohan Mill Road (a spur) parallel the Left Fork of Holly River for approximately eight miles. The river provides the traveler with many panoramic views as it winds its way through hills toward the Elk in Braxton County.

Potato Knob
Located just off Webster County Route 3 (the Hacker Valley/Pickens Road), the Potato Knob has been a popular attraction for tourists for many years. It is situated on the grounds of Holly River State Park. The Potato Know Trail winds its way up the steep incline to the summit of the hill. Negotiating the trail is a challenge, consequently only those who are physically fit should attempt the trail.

Upper Falls
This is a "must see" for people visiting the Mountain Parkway and Holly River State Park. Recently completed observation deck, stairway to the base of the falls, parking lot and upgraded road add tremendously to the accessibility of this scenic treasure. It is just off Webster County Route 3, the Hacker Valley/Pickens Road
